This weekend, Jeff and I planned on going to a barbecue with some of Jeff's friends from high school. We made the hour long drive to West Jordan, but when we got to Jake's house no one was there. After a few phone calls, Jeff found out that the barbecue isn't until NEXT weekend! It was a BYOB (Bring Your Own Beef) event, so we had a steak marinating in the back seat along with a huge salad to share. The only thing to do was head to Walmart for some charcoal and a lighter. Apparently, having grills in public parks is now considered too big a liability because it took us FOREVER to find one. Once we did find a grill, we found that some wasps had made a home in there. Jeff set it on fire before cooking our steak. After dinner, we went to a Drive-in movie and it ended up being a really great date!
